The youngest of eight children, Sheila Amparo moved to Southern California from the Philippines when she was seven years old. Uncertain of what she was going to study in college, her brother-in-law asked her if she had thought about becoming an engineer. Read More

Jon Shattuck was born and raised in Fresno and it was his dad’s career as a mechanical engineer which helped guide him into the field of engineering. He graduated from Fresno State, with what would become the basis of his career – civil engineering and geomatics engineering degrees. Read More
