Women of BKF | Vitina Mandella

With over 18 years in land development managing project teams from design through construction for site design, and infill projects, Vitina has extensive experience with stormwater management throughout the construction process and after completion, as well as designing and implementing stormwater controls. She has worked extensively with developers throughout California, redeveloping complex urban infill and master planning projects.

Her projects consist of hotel, education, retail, commercial, residential, mixed-use, civic, corporate, and transportation developments. Working with owners, architects, civic leaders, contractors and government agencies, Vitina provides services for preliminary planning, design, entitlement, through construction phases. She has prepared stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), hydrology and stormwater management reports (SWMP), as well as site and off-site plans for street improvements, traffic, LEED designation, Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, and historical preservation.

Vitina is a native to the Bay Area, grew up in Palo Alto, married her high school sweetheart, graduated from San Jose State, and currently lives in San Jose with her family. Depending on the time of year, she enjoys golfing or spending a day on the slopes with her husband, daughter, and son.
