With 10 years of experience in civil engineering and a love of travel, Sanela brings an ideal combination of creativity and technical expertise to her work as a BKF project surveyor. Moving from Croatia to New York in 2015, Sanela recalls lucky circumstances that led her to her current role at BKF’s San Diego office, where she finds energy in the projects she is part of and appreciates the impressive work we do here. “I feel very blessed I joined the BKF team,” she says. “On top of having great coworkers, you are well-appreciated and encouraged to grow.”

Sanela credits her husband and her son as the reason she smiles every day. On weekends you will find the trio spicing things up with road trips and hiking adventures while giving thanks for each other, their health, and freedom.
