The two‑story, 43,000‑square‑foot student union facility was designed to serve as the heart of the campus, providing spaces that supported student life with a focus on food service, recreation and events, and study and socialization. The building featured a student lounge with a fireplace, a trellised roof deck with an additional fireplace, and a two‑story outdoor dining and gathering area.
BKF provided preliminary and final civil design engineering, developed the water improvement plans and the campus sewer master plan, and performed ALTA and topographic survey services. The team also designed a three‑bay water quality basin to treat existing and proposed stormwater runoff onsite.
