UC Davis Yosemite Hall

BKF is part of a design-build team designing the replacement building. The project includes complete demolition of the existing Webster Hall structure and a new ground up building, Yosemite Hall, in its place. The existing site and utilities are being completely removed and BKF is designing the associated site improvements for the new building. BKF is also coordinating the permitting through the City of Davis for utility service connections and reconstruction of a public Class I bicycle trail adjacent to the project site. BKF evaluated innovative methods of complying with post-construction stormwater management requirements; the final design includes a combination of pervious pavers in the parking areas, Silva Cells, and subsurface retention chambers.
