Connie and Kevin Chou Hall is a state-of-the-art learning facility located at the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. The 74,000 sq. ft. building provides business school students with 8 tiered classrooms, 28 study rooms, 4 flexible classrooms, an event space that accommodates 300 people, and an on-site café with outdoor seating. BKF provided civil engineering design services from conceptual design through construction administration. Specifically, BKF designed site improvements around the relocation of two major storm drain lines and designed an innovative stormwater runoff capture and reuse system as part of the building’s plumbing.
