Overview

BKF served as the civil engineering and surveying partner on an architecturally led design‑build team for the development of a new aquatics facility constructed on an existing one‑acre, University‑owned surface parking lot. The project introduced three single‑story buildings and a 52‑meter competition pool with an integrated dive tower, transforming the site into a modern recreation and athletic destination.

BKF’s work included comprehensive on‑site and off‑site civil design, along with topographic and record boundary surveys required to support the facility’s layout and permitting. The project underwent review by the Division of the State Architect, and the design team pursued LEED Gold certification, reflecting a commitment to sustainable design and high‑performance campus facilities.
