BKF is the civil engineer for the Road D39 over Traver Canal Box Culvert Replacement project for the County of Tulare as part of a three bridge replacement project. The existing culvert is nearly 100 years old and carries water managed by Alta Irrigation District (AID). Constructed in 1918 and is located just north of the community of Traver and is an existing bridge that is a three span continuous reinforced concrete slab bridge supported on spread footings. BKF prepared the roadway and utility relocation plans as well as the traffic control/construction staging plans.
