BKF supported all phases of the Bowdoin Roundabout project, providing comprehensive design, plan preparation, and construction support for this key campus intersection improvement. The team addressed significant grading and drainage challenges, including the integration of the 100‑year flood path, while preserving the roundabout’s intended aesthetic and pedestrian‑friendly character. BKF’s work included developing existing‑conditions and demolition plans, site layout and horizontal control, detailed signage and striping design, and the grading, drainage, and utility plans required to bring the project to construction. Additional services included erosion control planning, construction detailing, and ongoing support throughout the build process to ensure the roundabout’s successful implementation.
