The existing gymnasium at South Pasadena Middle School has been completely renovated and now includes a black box theatre, a visual arts classroom, and a flex lab that supports STEM programs on campus. The theatre portion of the building provides flexible seating arrangements for different types of performances. BKF provided the civil engineering design work associated with the project, including design development, preparation of construction documents, DSA support, and construction support.
