The project includes over 400,000 square feet of commercial space, making it the largest retail project in the history of Oakland. Located on the site of the historic Bilger Quarry, where the Oakland Hills meet the urban/hip neighborhoods of Rockridge and Temescal. The development also includes surface parking lots located on the Safeway store rooftop, as well as a three-level parking garage placed above other commercial space. BKF supported the project from its initial planning stages, including site and mapping survey services. BKF also provided entitlement support, design development / construction document preparation, as well as the design and coordination of all site permits and off-site improvements for both phases of the project.
