SFSU Manzanita Square

The mixed-use student housing complex occupies an entire city block just south of the SFSU main campus and is owned and operated by the university. The development includes an 8-story podium-style building with 169 residential units, parking, retail, and various student amenities. BKF provided the civil engineering design and land surveying services associated with the project, including a combined sewer main extension serving the building and major encroachment to bring private utilities across the public right-of-way. BKF worked with the design team to incorporate green and sustainable stormwater management techniques and incorporated into the campus stormwater master plan.
