Overview

BKF is providing services for the Riverpark Specific Plan Environmental Impact Report. The 702-acre RiverPark Specific Plan development is an integrated mixed-use community of residences, commercial uses, parks, schools, civic uses, and support infrastructure, in the City of Oxnard located on the central coast of Ventura County, California. BKF is completing the sixteenth Addendum to the certified RiverPark Project Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the RiverPark Project. Planning District E of the project has been subject to multiple amendments since the approval of the Final EIR, resulting in changes to the maximum permitted development allowed for Development of the RiverPark Specific Plan area began in May 2004. The adopted RiverPark Specific Plan, as modified through previous addendums, currently permits approximately 1,536,000 square feet of commercial space and 4,068 residential dwelling units. The project includes a Specific Plan Amendment to remove the “Public Facilities” land use designation from Planning District E, and the project would not increase or decrease the maximum permitted buildout of 110,000 square feet of commercial uses in Planning District E.
