Long Beach Civic Center

The Long Beach Civic Center Project is a true testament of the City’s effort to revitalize the main downtown core of Long Beach. This Public-Private Partnership (P3) project integrates civic, commercial and residential development without any use of bond funds, tax measures or voter approvals. The $520 million design build, developer led project consists of new offices for the Port of Long Beach and the City, a new library, civic plaza, central utility plant, subterranean parking spaces for 469 vehicles, a 4.9 acre city park and mixed use development including 580 residential units, retail and 200-room hotel.
