BKF provided civil engineering design services for a $36‑million high school campus expansion located within a dense metropolitan setting. Because the school needed to remain fully operational throughout construction, the project required careful phasing and temporary relocation of essential campus systems to maintain safety and continuity for students and staff.
The campus expansion introduced new classrooms, staff offices, locker rooms, an improved main entry, a central plaza, a new lobby, and updated administrative spaces. BKF supported the design of all associated site improvements, including grading, utilities, access, and circulation upgrades. The project was developed to meet the rigorous Living Building Challenge, reflecting a commitment to regenerative design, sustainability, and high‑performance educational environments.
