BKF provided civil engineering services for the expansion of The Restaurant at Laguna Cliffs, a project led in collaboration with the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa and The Kloss Group LLC. The redevelopment delivers a new coastal seafood restaurant and bar featuring an outdoor patio with fire pits, a redesigned entry experience, a pedestrian‑friendly walkway, and a 10,000‑square‑foot event lawn. The project also includes a 2,500‑square‑foot patio dining area and a signature 1,000‑gallon saltwater aquarium that enhances the guest experience.
BKF prepared the full suite of civil site improvements, including grading and drainage plans, topographic surveying, utility plans, retaining wall profiles, and hydrology and hydraulic calculations. These services supported the seamless integration of the new restaurant amenities into the existing resort property while enhancing accessibility, circulation, and overall site functionality.
