Located on the shores of San Francisco Bay, Design Tech High School (d.tech) sat at the edge of Oracle Corporation’s campus, surrounded by green spaces with walking and biking paths. The 64,000‑square‑foot building was designed with flowing, ribbon‑like contours that blended naturally with the site’s sloping geography.
The facility included two 6,000‑square‑foot fabrication labs, dedicated chemistry and biology laboratories, flexible classroom neighborhoods with breakout nooks, and a two‑story multi‑purpose lobby. The campus also provided two acres of public access space.
