Del Monte Park in San Jose initially opened in 2014. As part of the second phase of a master plan for the park, the City of Jose acquired an additional four-acres located between Auzerais Avenue and West Home Street, pushing the park’s boundaries westward along Sunol Street. BKF worked with Callander Associates on Phase II, adding a full-size synthetic turf soccer field (with overlapping youth fields), concrete jogging paths with connections to phase I, and new sidewalk and curb and gutter.
