The Contra Costa Boulevard Corridor Improvement project created a multi-modal transportation corridor to balance vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle transportation needs. BKF was retained by the City to develop a preliminary plan and final construction documents to redevelop Contra Costa Boulevard in accordance with the principles of completes streets. BKF conducted a corridor traffic study to confirm lane geometry, width, and intersection configuration. BKF also provided environmental review, right-of-way certification, and coordination with the Caltrans Office of Local Assistance.
