The newly constructed 12,425-square-foot Coastside Fire Station 41 provided modern facilities to support current firefighting needs, including three drive‑through apparatus bays, sleeping quarters for seven staff, a training room, kitchen, dining room, offices, fitness room, turnout storage, and a shop area. The station also included secured personnel parking, a public parking area, an emergency generator, and a refueling station.
BKF provided civil engineering design and land surveying services for the project. Site improvements incorporated bioretention basins, customized flow‑through planters, and other site design measures to reduce and treat stormwater runoff. A water main extension was also installed along the frontage road.
