The newly constructed 12,425 sq. ft. Coastside Fire Station 41 provides a variety of modern elements to meet current firefighting needs, including three drive-thru apparatus bays, sleeping quarters for seven staff, a training room, kitchen, and dining room, just to name a few. BKF provided civil engineering design and land surveying services for the project. Bioretention basins, customized flow-through planters and other site-design measures were incorporated to reduce and treat stormwater runoff. A water main extension was also installed along the frontage road.
