The Clifford L. Allenby Building is a new office constructed for the State of California Department of General Services. The existing office building was demolished to construct the new 11-story, 372,000 GSF office building, which houses roughly 1,100-1,200 employees from the Health and Human Services Agency, the Department of State Hospitals, and the Department of Developmental Services. As part of the project’s Design-Build team, BKF assisted with coordination with agency officials, obtaining permits, and supervising the overall civil engineering design.
