BKF was retained by the City of Healdsburg to deliver utility and streetscape improvements in the city’s historic downtown, with a primary focus on enhancing pedestrian mobility. The project redesigned sidewalks to create inviting pedestrian zones that accommodate daily foot traffic, window shopping, and outdoor dining opportunities for nearby restaurants. BKF’s work included upgrades to sewer, water, and storm drain systems, the integration of new stormwater and drainage facilities, and the incorporation of low‑impact development measures to support sustainable site performance. The team also supported the city through public outreach efforts to ensure the improvements aligned with community needs and expectations.
