The California Shakespeare Theater project included demolition of seven existing site structures and construction of a new 8,000 sq. ft. LEED Gold certified building. Environmentally sensitive, construction of the project is a slab on grade with wood framing, structural steel support, cast in place concrete walls, and a living roof. Excavation to the hillside at the site was performed to create space for the basement-level undercroft of the new building.
