BKF Engineers provided full civil engineering and survey services for the 200 Twin Dolphin Drive office development in Redwood City, California. Although the project involved the demolition of existing structures and the construction of a new 202,010-square-foot office building and a 655-stall parking garage, along with significant on- and off-site improvements including a mid-block crossing, frontage upgrades, and enhancements to the adjacent Belmont Creek Trail.
Our team led the project through all four phases of delivery:
- BKF conducted a supplemental topographic survey to support the design and documentation of the site frontage and trail improvements.
- We prepared a comprehensive set of civil plans and technical specifications, coordinating closely with the project architect and landscape architect to align site grading, utilities, and stormwater systems.
- BKF managed submittals and responses through the City of Redwood City’s review process, ensuring compliance with entitlement conditions and engineering standards.
- We supported the contractor and owner throughout construction with submittal reviews, RFI responses, SWPPP coordination, and final record drawings.
Furthermore, the project was recognized with the Silicon Valley Structure Awards – Best Facade of 2025, celebrating its architectural excellence and collaborative execution.
