Lauren Boyle Berman, a native to the Bay Area Peninsula, began her civil engineering career with BKF in 2012 in our Redwood City office, where she now works on a wide variety of land development projects as an Project Manager.

Back in the eighth grade when she won a San Mateo County science project which focused on suspension bridges, Lauren realized that she was destined for a career centering around infrastructure and how it is made. The project award all those years ago gave her the confidence to realize that she could someday become a female engineer. She says she is proud to be a part of a company that has such a well-known reputation for getting projects done. Her perfect day off would incorporate “accomplishment and then reward”; exercise, chores, and then relaxing with wine, charcuterie, music and her husband.
