Since 1915, BKF Engineers has earned a reputation for its ability to successfully plan, design, survey, and implement complex projects. Our Project Coordinators are key contributors to our projects and play an important role in coordinating with other internal teams such as accounting and other administrators across the company.

Growing up in Northern California, Jasmine took the opportunity to explore SoCal by attending and graduating from UC Riverside with a B.A. in History. When looking for a new job, Jasmine wanted the opportunity to work in a project-based environment. She joined BKF Engineers in 2019 as a Project Assistant in the Newport Beach office. Working closely with all the Project Managers and other technical staff, Jasmine knew that she wanted more and soon worked her way up to the Project Coordinator position.

Now a Senior Project Coordinator, no day looks the same, Jasmine coordinates with Project Management Accounting, and Administrative teams. Helping multiple project teams with their “Greenbooks” on a monthly basis is one of her position highlights. Another highlight has been working with the BKF Technical Team and the City of Anaheim with permitting requests, most recently working on railroad right of way encroachment permits and a civil base mapping project making the utility requests required for the project.

Beyond her daily responsibilities, Jasmine is also a member of one of BKF’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Sub Committees working on multi-cultural events throughout the year, her favorite being Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. This year she will be leading a cooking demonstration and showing fellow BKF employees across all of our 16 offices how to make Spam Musubi.

Outside of work Jasmine enjoys spending her time with family and friends. Her Mom is an important support system in her life, especially since it was just the two of them for a really long time.  Her partner, Victor, is another of her biggest supporters both personally and professionally. They recently relocated to BKF’s growing Portland office and they enjoy their downtime exploring their new surroundings.
