San Jose, CA – BKF Engineers is delighted to extend our support and congratulations to Vitina Mandella on her appointment as President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Silicon Valley. The CREW Network is a global organization of more than 13,500 members in 80 markets worldwide and remains the premier business network for women in commercial real estate. This prestigious role reflects Vitina’s success and dedication in her prior role as secretary on the board and her ongoing dedication to CREW Silicon Valley’s mission to advance all women in commercial real estate through business networking, leadership, development, career outreach, and industry research.
I became a member of CREW Silicon Valley in 2016, thanks to a recommendation and sponsorship from a colleague. Little did I know at the time just how profoundly it would shape my career journey. Back then, I was known for my proficiency in managing and designing projects from inception to completion. However, I lacked the essential client relationship and sales skills. It was within CREW that I found the programs and formed connections that enabled me to build my confidence to and discover my own talents as a leader in commercial real estate.
After seven years of personal and professional growth, I felt it was time to give back to the organization that had nurtured me into the multifaceted professional I am today – a mother, an engineer, and a company liaison. Last year, I eagerly accepted the role of secretary on the board. I am genuinely excited to embrace this new position as president-elect, as I believe it will give me the opportunity to better serve the commercial real estate community.
BKF Engineers extends its warmest congratulations to Vitina and wishes her continued success in her new role as President of CREW Silicon Valley.
