For anyone that has met Jackie Martinez, BKF’s Regional Director of Business Development, it is not a surprise that she has been named by Engineering News-Record (ENR) West a Top Young Professional for 2026—a prestigious recognition that celebrates rising leaders in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
This honor reflects Jackie’s commitment to advancing the industry, mentoring others, and giving back to the community as well as her team. ENR’s Top Young Professionals program identifies individuals under 40 who are making a measurable impact through leadership, professional growth, and civic engagement. Jackie was selected from a competitive pool of candidates across the region, evaluated by an independent panel of industry leaders representing ENR West.

Nominees were judged on three key criteria:
- Industry Experience and Education – Demonstrating technical excellence and a strong foundation in the A/E/C field.
- Career and Industry Leadership – Leading initiatives that drive innovation, collaboration, and growth within their organizations and the broader industry.
- Community Service and Involvement – Actively contributing to the betterment of their communities through volunteerism, mentorship, and advocacy.
Jackie exemplifies these values through her work at BKF Engineers, where she fosters successful partnerships, champions tailored solutions and leads with integrity.
