We are pleased to announce that Roger Chung has joined BKF’s Newport Beach office as Project Manager. Roger has more than 22 years of civil engineering experience with expertise in hydrology, hydraulic, water quality and structural analysis for the preparation of drainage studies, drainage master plans and the preparation of design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water supply and flood control facilities. He has been involved in the hydraulic analysis and design of numerous water recharge and flood control projects in San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Kern and Ventura Counties.

Roger is actively involved with his community. He has been serving on the executive board of the Environmental & Water Resources Institute Orange County Chapter for the last 19 years. Outside of his professional life, Roger is currently the President at Portola High School Aquatic Booster which supports water polo and swimming programs for boys and girls. Roger is also the Nation Chief for Broken Lance Native Nation, a father-and-sons youth group that meets on a monthly basis. He also served on the school PTA board for the last 10 years. Passionate about sports and his local sports teams, he has been a high school girls’ varsity basketball coach for the last 15 years.
