BKF Engineers prides itself on its commitment to educating future generations on the everyday aspects of civil engineering and surveying. Sponsored by the Women of BKF Employee Resources Group, BKF hosted an in-person event at each of our 16 offices for youth of all ages to participate in several fun engineering and surveying-related activities including:

• Engineering & Surveying Scavenger Hunt
• Topography Activity
• Constructing a city or building with building blocks
• Drawing a map of your dream city/building

Each year we welcome the guests and children of BKF employees into the office and encourage their interests in STEM-related fields. BKF promotes recognition among our employees and student attendees of the importance of a technical education, as well as a high literacy in math, science, and technology. Our event is intended to motivate youth to explore engineering careers. By inspiring and empowering more school-aged girls and boys to pursue their interests in STEM, we are investing in the future of engineering and land surveying.
