Rob Bilson serves as the Vice President of Technology and Information Services at BKF, where he directs enterprise technology strategy, digital infrastructure, and the systems that support operational excellence across the firm. With more than 30 years of experience leading IT organizations, Rob brings a deep background in enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, IT operations, and large-scale digital transformation. He is recognized for driving technical and cultural change, building strong teams, and delivering secure, scalable solutions that advance business performance.  

Earlier in life, Rob served nine years as a medic in the Delaware Air National Guard, training and supporting medical personnel and contributing to the readiness of an 1,100-member unit—experience that shaped his leadership style and commitment to service.   

Rob is a published author with multiple books and dozens of technical papers to his credit, including works with Adobe Press, O’Reilly Media, CNET, and Microsoft’s High Tech Innovation Council. Outside of technology, Rob and his wife are the publishers of Edible Santa Barbara magazine, reflecting their shared passion for local foodways, sustainability, and community storytelling.
