Josh is a seasoned natural resources professional with more than 21 years of experience in biological studies, environmental compliance, and project management. As the Natural Resources Practice Lead, he specializes in special-status species, CEQA/NEPA documentation, wetland delineation, and multi-agency coordination. Dr. Reece has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers and has led complex field investigations, vulnerability assessments, and regulatory permitting efforts across California. His work spans major infrastructure, residential development, and large-scale renewable energy projects, where he provides expert guidance on environmental regulations, habitat assessments, and compliance monitoring. He is recognized nationally for his contributions to conservation science, earning awards from both the National Park Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
