Since joining BKF Engineers in 2018, Jackie Martinez has been a driving force in expanding the firm’s presence and influence across Southern California. Known for her ability to build meaningful relationships and connect the right people at the right time, Jackie has played a pivotal role in securing major municipal, transportation, and land development initiatives throughout the region. Her deep network across the A/E/C industry, paired with her collaborative and client-focused approach, has strengthened BKF’s partnerships and elevated the firm’s visibility with key public agencies, design teams, and community leaders. Jackie’s leadership and impact were recently recognized by Engineering News-Record, where she was honored as one of the ENR Top Young Professionals, a distinction that highlights rising industry leaders who drive innovation, collaboration, and positive change in the built environment.

Jackie leads strategic growth for the Planning and Government Services division with a focus on expanding BKF’s planning and environmental capabilities, enhancing agency relationships, and advancing cross-disciplinary solutions that support cities, counties, and public institutions across California. She is committed to identifying emerging opportunities, strengthening long-term strategic partnerships, and championing integrated services. Jackie’s passion for connecting people—both internally and externally—remains at the core of her leadership style and continues to create value for clients and project teams alike. “Connecting people is one of my passions” says Jackie.

Outside of work, Jackie prioritizes staying active. She enjoys hiking with friends, strength training at the gym, and practicing hot yoga—daily rituals that help her recharge, stay focused, and bring her best energy to her team and clients.
