Cherryland Elementary School

Located in Hayward, the reconstructed Cherryland Elementary School campus serves 750 students ranging from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. There are five one- to two-story buildings on the campus, which include classrooms, an administration building, multi-purpose building, and library/media center. BKF provided civil engineering design services for the project including grading and drainage, utility design, and storm water quality calculations. Additionally, BKF was the lead in coordinating with the East Bay Municipal Utility District, as well as coordinating submittals with public agencies.
