BKF served as the lead civil engineer for both the preliminary and final grading plans for a proposed 122‑acre recreational sports park. Designed to serve a wide range of community and regional events, the park features 28 soccer fields and full equestrian facilities, including arenas, a hay barn, and a vendor village with picnic areas. Additional amenities include all‑weather sand surfaces, a multi‑purpose climate‑controlled barn and event building, temporary barns, camping and RV hook‑ups, a reception hall, facility offices, site lighting, and multiple storage and maintenance structures.
BKF’s scope encompassed conceptual and final engineering, grading and site drainage design, and development of on‑site conceptual water and sewer infrastructure. The team also assisted with planning for the mainline storm drain system to support long‑term functionality and efficient site operations. These efforts helped lay the groundwork for a versatile, multi‑use park capable of hosting large‑scale athletic and equestrian activities.
