The City of San Jose retained BKF to provide engineering services for installing hydrodynamic separator units at three new locations as part of the project’s phase V. BKF designed multiple large trash capture devices installed on existing 66-inch to 78-inch diameter storm drains. BKF also prepared plans, specifications, and cost estimates and coordinated with the San Jose Water Company and PG&E for existing utility relocation. Performing design services within four months, BKF was able to accommodate the aggressive state-mandated deadline for project completion.
