BKF provided civil engineering services in support of the Samsung Research Center, a new office development in Mountain View consisting of two 96,000‑square‑foot office buildings and two parking structures. The project required site‑sensitive design solutions that minimized earthwork and reduced construction costs while supporting the entitlement process for the development.
BKF’s work included conceptual grading and utility design, development of low‑impact stormwater management measures that comply with the latest Provision C.3 requirements, and preparation of a comprehensive Site Constraints Plan. The campus is designed as a transit‑oriented development, integrating sustainable site planning with improved access to public transportation.
