BKF was selected to provide civil engineering and land surveying services for the Stone Pine Cove project by San Mateo County and the City of Half Moon Bay. The project is a 47-unit affordable housing development designed for local farmworker families.
Working under an accelerated schedule, BKF led the design team and entitlement efforts for the 5-acre property, including grading, utility coordination, access planning, and stormwater management. Our team also developed project renderings and supported the permitting process for this unique manufactured housing community.
BKF’s expertise was critical in advancing the project from concept to construction in alignment with emergency housing needs and public funding deadlines. The community is close to parks, schools, and downtown Half Moon Bay, promoting walkability and long-term community integration.
