Russian River Brewing has been producing award‑winning beer since 1997 and now attracts more than 300,000 visitors each year, drawing guests from over 40 countries. Their annual Pliny the Younger release alone brings in more than 16,000 visitors and generates approximately $5 million in local economic activity within just two weeks. To expand beyond the limited brewing capacity of their Santa Rosa facility the owners selected a 15‑acre site in the Town of Windsor, an area with a distinctive rural character, natural open channels, and approximately four acres of jurisdictional wetlands, creating an ideal home for their new brewery campus.
The new Windsor facility includes an 85,000‑square‑foot brewing operation, nearly three acres of surface parking, and more than an acre of outdoor production space. The campus also features a 200‑seat restaurant, an outdoor beer garden, a gift shop, and administrative office space. BKF provided the civil engineering design supporting site planning, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and integration of the facility into the surrounding natural landscape, helping Russian River Brewing realize a destination that pairs world‑class beer with a thoughtfully designed visitor experience.
