Having outgrown its existing facility, the Markstein Beverage Company constructed a new 90,000-square-foot beverage distribution warehouse on an 11-acre property in Antioch. BKF provided entitlement support services through the City of Antioch Planning Department, including schematic designs, environmental assessments, a stormwater control plan, and a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.
BKF also delivered complete site design services for the new warehouse, including parking lots and driveways designed to accommodate large delivery trucks and vegetated swales that met Contra Costa County stormwater treatment standards. The site was master planned to accommodate a future Phase 2 expansion of an additional 35,000 square feet of warehouse space and five additional loading dock truck bays. BKF’s services further included design development, construction documents, building department permitting, and construction support services.
