Geneva Car Barn & Powerhouse

The historic Geneva Car Barn and Powerhouse was originally built as the home of San Francisco’s first electric railway. The buildings have been repurposed to serve as a multidisciplinary arts center in the City’s Excelsior District, and provide training in arts-related fields to underprivileged youth. BKF provided civil engineering design services on the project, including preparation of construction documents.
