We are pleased to announce that Yushin Imura has joined BKF’s Modesto office as a Project Manager. Yushin has proven himself not only as an outstanding emerging leader who has achieved professional success, but has demonstrated a passion for enhancing the local community.
With 15 years of experience in civil engineering, land development, 3D laser scanning, land surveying, and GIS, Yushin has provided professional design services for multi-million dollar residential, commercial, institutional, and public construction projects. His notable projects include the California High-Speed Rail, one of the largest subdivision projects in California called River Islands (a 4,800-acre residential and commercial development in Lathrop), and a 300-acre private land development project in Hollister called Santana Ranch.
Yushin strongly believes in giving back to his community, which has led to his involvement with a variety of organizations. In particular, he is passionate about organizations that inspire children to pursue a higher education, including the Ultimate Math Challenge, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), Sierra Vista Cares, and the Modesto Engineers Club. Yushin has participated as part of Stanislaus County Revitalization Group, Modesto Design Collective, Modesto Chamber of Commerce, San Joaquin Engineers Council, ASCE Central Valley Branch, and was named one of the Modesto Bee’s 20 Under 40 in 2017.
