Throughout his career, Bruce has had the opportunity to play a key role in significant land development site engineering projects throughout Southern California. His responsibilities have involved site engineering design and coordination, along with the project management and supervision of design teams for site grading and drainage, offsite street improvements, and backbone utilities. Over the length of his career, he has directed the design of many different types of projects including residential (subdivision and multi-family), commercial (retail, office and industrial), higher education, civic (courthouses, convention centers, and fire stations), hospitality, and recreational (sports parks and golf courses) projects.

He joined BKF’s Orange County office in 2017 in order to help grow our clientele in the area and he says it has been a great experience and a good challenge in terms of being flexible. “On a daily basis we can get a phone call which changes things on a project; either puts things on hold or accelerates things,” he said. “We are in the business of constantly shifting and adjusting to meet our client’s needs.”

A self-proclaimed beach lover, Bruce enjoys spending weekends outdoors and is an avid sailor (both cruising and racing). He can often be found taking the office staff or clients on outings to Catalina Island and once had the opportunity to race in the Newport to Ensenada Yacht Race.
