BKF provided civil engineering design and surveing services for the challenging reconstruction project. To minimize the already heavy construction activity in the area, Stanford University decided to design and bid the Serra Mall utilities separate from the Serra Street Mall project.

- Developed a utility design compatible with the Engineering Quad’s immediate and future needs and construction staging plans, which were integrated into the surrounding in-process construction.
- 60-inch diameter storm drain line and chilled water system installation.
