UC Berkeley – Boalt School of Law Expansion

Expansion of the school under a design-build contract.
- Renovation included conversion of Simon Hall dormitory into office space and kitchen and cafeteria into childcare and lounge areas.
- Partial remodel of existing law school to provide better pedestrian circulation.
- Relocated utilities include a high-pressure water line, a steam line, electric and communication ducts.

Project Unique Features:
- New 50,000 s.f. expansion includes five floors to house basement parking, a library, two office levels, an atrium with skylight, two elevators and stair towers.
- On-site casting facility was set up to fabricate precast concrete exterior wall panels to complete the building on schedule.
