Training:
To make the most of new design tools, we provide training in their use.
- We have an internal 9-class Basic Training Program – BKF Boot Camp – for engineers and surveyors.
- We have an ongoing contract with CadMasters, a professional training group to provide in house as well as classroom training. Training for elements of the design software is generally covered in two-day sessions.
- In addition, we have developed a set of standards that allows our staff to work in a common environment to facilitate the ability to share work.
- “Brown Bag” sessions at noon give staff the opportunity to develop skills and ask questions.
