Jan is experienced in all phases of project design and development, including preliminary studies, schematic design, final design, contract document preparation, and contract administration. She has worked on mixed-use, residential, education, healthcare, commercial, hospitality, public facilities, recreation, and highway improvement, and utilities infrastructure projects, including Bay Meadows, Terrabay, and hundreds of projects for Stanford University.

Jan received her B.S.C.E. from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Santa Clara. She joined BKF in 1979.
